Series PFD Pneumatic Frame Clamp delivers consistent, high clamping force for body-in-white, automotive frame welding, truck frame, and heavy fabrication applications. Its rugged cam-driven mechanism generates up to 4,581 lb (20.4 kN) of total clamp force across a broad power window. Six jaw styles provide greater tooling flexibility: L and N long jaw styles with 240 mm and 200 mm gaps, plus M, W, Y, and Z wide jaw styles with 315.7 mm, 270 mm, 240 mm, and 200 mm gaps.

Designed for flexible fixture and tooling design, the PFD offers six jaw configurations to accommodate large and complex workpieces. Long jaw styles include L with a 240 mm gap and N with a 200 mm gap. Wide jaw styles include M at 315.7 mm, W at 270 mm, Y at 240 mm, and Z at 200 mm. Multiple jaw widths, wide throat openings, and robust tooling surfaces with dowel pin locations simplify tooling design and mounting. The modular jaw system also allows quick jaw removal for modification or replacement. Weld covers and high heat-resistant protection around the jaws help shield internal mechanisms from weld spatter and contaminants. Removable covers simplify maintenance and proximity switch adjustment while the clamp remains installed. Switch-ready capability supports customer-supplied 12 mm proximity switches, while internal speed control enables quiet operation in under 0.7 seconds without external flow controls. Compatible mounting surfaces also simplify replacement of competitive frame clamps.
